Ingredients
- Pumpkin - 5 pieces
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- 10% cream - 1 cup
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 0.4 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 0 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Clean the pumpkin from seeds and skin. Cut into pieces, place in boiling water, add salt and pepper, and cook for 15 minutes.
Step 2
Then peel the carrot and grate it on a medium grater, chop the onion into small cubes. Sauté for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Add the carrot and onion to the pot with the pumpkin and cook for another 5 minutes.
Step 4
Blend with an immersion blender. Pour back into the pot, add the cream, and reduce.
Step 5
Serve the soup in bowls, sprinkled with chopped herbs on top.
