- Pumpkin - 10.6 oz
- Cheese - 3.5 oz
- Cream - 17 fl oz
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Thyme - 2 sprigs
- Onion - 2 heads
- Vegetable Oil - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
First, wash the pumpkin, remove the seeds, peel it, and cut it into cubes.
Step 2
Line a baking dish with parchment paper, lightly drizzle with vegetable oil, and place the pumpkin inside. Add crushed garlic and a couple of sprigs of thyme on top. Bake for 30 minutes at 356°F.
Step 3
While the pumpkin is in the oven, finely chop the onion and sauté it in vegetable oil.
Step 4
Transfer the cooked pumpkin to a blender, add the onion and cream. Blend everything until smooth.
Step 5
Place the mixture on the stove, season with salt to taste, and bring to a boil. Before serving, sprinkle with grated cheese.
