  • Wheat Flour - 1 glass
  • Butter - 3.4 oz
  • Chicken Egg - 4 pieces
  • Green Peas - 3.5 oz
  • Sweet Pepper - 3.5 oz
  • Carrot - 3.5 oz
  • Onion - 1 head
  • Sour Cream - 10.6 oz
  • Hard Cheese - 3.5 oz
  • Chicken fillet - 3.5 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

For the dough: finely chop 95 g of butter, add 200 g of flour, and incorporate 1 egg. Roll the dough into a ball; if the dough is too crumbly, add a tablespoon of cold water. Wrap the prepared dough in plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for one hour.

Step 2

Then, spread the dough into the tart pan, pressing it down with your fingers against the bottom and sides, and carefully shape the edges. The layer should be about 5–7 mm thick. Bake the tart base until lightly set (until light golden color), for 10–12 minutes at 356°F.

Step 3

For the filling: sauté a mixture of roughly equal amounts of carrots, green peas, bell peppers, and onions in butter until slightly tender, no more than 5 minutes. Cut the chicken breast or bacon into cubes and fry them. Add to the vegetables. In a separate bowl, mix 3 eggs, 300 g of sour cream, 100 g of grated hard cheese, season with salt, and combine with the vegetables. Transfer the filling into the pre-baked dish (as we remember, we prepared the dish in advance but did not fully bake it) and place it on the lower rack of an oven preheated to 356°F for 30–40 minutes.
