Quick Ajika Recipe
Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 5 lbs
- Orange Bell Peppers - 5 lbs
- Garlic - 0 lbs
- Salt - to taste
- Sugar - to taste
- Mild Chili Spice - 20 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Chop the tomatoes.
Step 2
Peel the garlic.
Step 3
Peel and chop the chili peppers.
Step 4
Clean the bell peppers and chop them.
Step 5
Pass everything through a meat grinder.
Step 6
Cook for 40 minutes. Add salt and sugar. Cook for another 5 minutes.
Step 7
Sterilize the jars.
Step 8
Boil the lids in boiling water for 10–15 minutes.
Step 9
Pour the ajika into the jars.
Step 10
Seal and place the jars lid down, wrapping them in a warm cloth. Leave until completely cool.
