Quick Pickled Green Beans
Ingredients
- Vinegar essence - 3 teaspoons
- Water - 21 fl oz
- Chinese green beans - 2 lbs
- Mild Chili Spice - to taste
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Salt - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the raw green beans in cold water and place them in a bowl.
Step 2
Chop 2–3 medium onions and add them to the bowl with the green beans.
Step 3
Add salt and ground chili pepper (preferably red chili pepper) to taste.
Step 4
Pour water into a glass and add 1 teaspoon of vinegar, then pour it into the bowl with the green beans. Repeat until the water completely covers the beans.
Step 5
Stir and place in the refrigerator. They can be tasted after 2 hours.
Step 6
Serve cold as an appetizer with meat or fish.
