Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes - 4 pieces
- Spanish onions - 1 head
- Butter - to taste
- White Cabbage - ½ piece
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Whole egg - 1 piece
- Wheat Flour - 2 tablespoons
- Cream (40%) - 7 fl oz
- Bofor cheese - 7.1 oz
- Champagne Vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Olive Oil - 3 tablespoons
- Herbs - 1 bunch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Boil the potatoes in salted water until cooked, then let them cool slightly. Peel and grate or mash them. Add spices.
Step 2
Meanwhile, sauté the finely chopped onion and shredded cabbage in a small amount of butter until soft, but not browned. Then add garlic.
Step 3
Transfer the mixture to the potatoes and mix well with the egg yolk. Divide into 4 parts, shape into small discs, and lightly coat in flour.
Step 4
Fry in butter until golden brown on both sides.
Step 5
Heat the cream, add grated cheese, and stir constantly until it reaches a sauce consistency. Add spices and a little water if the sauce is too thick.
Step 6
Place the rashti on plates, add herbs on the side, and drizzle with sauce around.
