Description

You can place iceberg lettuce leaves on the very bottom layer, if desired.

Ingredients

  • Sesame bun - 1 piece
  • Lean Beef - 3.5 oz
  • Onion - ½ head
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste
  • Pickles - 1 piece
  • Mustard Greens - 1½ teaspoons
  • Ketchup - 3 teaspoons
  • Tomatoes - 3 pieces
  • Olive Oil - 1 teaspoon

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Mince the garlic clove using a garlic press. Finely chop ¼ of the onion.

Step 2

Add the garlic and onion to the fresh ground beef. Season with salt and pepper. Form a flat patty.

Step 3

In a regular skillet or grill pan, lightly heat the olive oil. Cook the patty on both sides for about 7 minutes with the lid closed.

Step 4

Finely chop the remaining onion and pickle. Prepare 3 slices of fresh tomato.

Step 5

Cut the bun in half. Spread 1 teaspoon of ketchup and ½ teaspoon of mustard on each half, placing the chopped onion and pickle on the bottom half, mixing them with the sauce.

Step 6

Place the patty on the bottom half of the burger, adding the remaining ketchup and mustard on top. Then add the slices of tomato and cover with the other half of the bun.

Step 7

Serve warm, reheating in the microwave or by other means.
