Rice noodle soup with fried tofu
Ingredients
- Rice Noodles - 5.3 oz
- Tofu - 17.6 oz
- Miso Paste - 2 spoons
- Sitimy spice blend - ½ spoons
- Chinese green beans - 1 bunch
- Vegetable Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Chicken Broth - 1 qt
- Cilantro - 2 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Soak the noodles in hot water for 2 minutes, drain and rinse under cold water, then divide between 2 bowls. Cut the tofu into 4 steaks and place between 2 pieces of paper towel to dry. Mix the miso paste with the spices and spread it on top of the tofu.
Step 2
Preheat a grill pan and brush it with oil. Place the tofu on the pan, oiled side up, and grill for 6-8 minutes until crispy. Transfer to a plate. On the grill, add the sliced napa cabbage and cook for a short time until it wilts.
Step 3
Bring the broth to a boil and pour it over the noodles. Top with cabbage and tofu. Sprinkle with coriander.
