Rice with Shrimp and Spicy Seasonings
Ingredients
- Long-Grain Rice - 0.7 cup
- Avocado - 10.6 oz
- Curry - 1 teaspoon
- Coarse Salt - to taste
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Toasted Sesame - to taste
- Spices - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 0.5 oz
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese - 3.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cook the rice until al dente, adding a little vegetable oil (optional), salt, and a pinch of curry.
Step 2
In a skillet, add the rice, then add the butter and a ladle of the water in which the rice was cooked. Add more liquid as the water evaporates.
Step 3
Add the curry (in my case, it was ground rather than powdered), then the spices, shrimp (previously held in boiling water), and finally — cheese, sesame seeds, chopped avocado, and parsley.
