- Rice - 14.1 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Chicken Broth - 1 qt
- Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Dry White Wine - 5 fl oz
- Cream - 3 tablespoons
- Parmesan Cheese - 1.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Heat the oil in a large skillet or wide pot and sauté the onion for 5 minutes until it becomes soft.
Step 2
Add the rice to the pot and stir well to coat each grain with oil. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Add the wine, stir a couple of times, and cook for another 1-2 minutes to let the wine absorb.
Step 3
Keeping the pot over medium heat, add a bit of hot broth and stir well. Continue adding broth while stirring. Before adding more, make sure the broth has been absorbed. This will take about 20 minutes.
Step 4
When the rice is ready, remove the pot from the heat and stir in the cream and cheese.
Step 5
Let it sit for a couple of minutes and serve in warmed plates.
