Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Maple Mustard Sauce

Ingredients

  • Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Brussels Sprouts - 2 lbs
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste
  • Apple Cider Vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Maple syrup - 1 tablespoon
  • Dijon Mustard - 1 tablespoon
  • Dijon Mustard - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Chopped almonds - 1.1 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Clean the Brussels sprouts and cut each sprout in half. Transfer to a bowl and add half of the olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Step 2

Preheat the oven to 392°F.

Step 3

Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet and roast for about 30 minutes, stirring a few times, until they start to caramelize.

Step 4

In a small bowl, mix the remaining olive oil, vinegar, maple syrup, mustard, and minced garlic. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 5

Toss the Brussels sprouts with the sauce and almonds.
