Description

Roti John, a popular street food from Malaysia and Singapore. A baguette filled with minced meat, omelet, onions, and chili tomato sauce. From our 'Golden Thousand'.

Ingredients

  • French Baguette - 1 piece
  • Lean Beef - 15 oz
  • Onion - 1 piece
  • Ground ancho chili pepper - 1 piece
  • Mild Chili Spice - 1 piece
  • Scallions - 0 oz
  • Chicken Egg - 4 pieces
  • Vegetable Oil - 0 fl oz
  • Salt - to taste

Prepare the necessary ingredients.

Slice the onion into thick strips.

Slice the green onions into rings.

Chop the chili coarsely.

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet.

Add the minced meat and season with salt. Finally, add the green onions and remove from heat.

Place the meat side down on a hot skillet. Gently press with a spatula. Once the egg is cooked, flip the bread crust side down to toast it.
