Description
Instead of fresh fish, you can use canned fish, resulting in a very tasty fish soup in a multicooker.
Ingredients
- Salmon - 1 piece
- Salad Potatoes - 3 pieces
- Onion - 1 piece
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Rice - ½ cup
- Water - 2 qt
- Salt - to taste
- Spices - to taste
- Herbs - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Clean the fish, wash it, and remove the gills. Place the fish in the multicooker bowl.
Step 2
Cut the potatoes into cubes. Chop the carrot into cubes. Rinse the rice.
Step 3
Add the potatoes, carrot, rice, and peeled onion to the multicooker with the fish. Add water, salt, and spices (I usually add whole peppercorns and bay leaves).
Step 4
Set the multicooker to the 'Stew' mode for 1 hour (if using hot water for cooking the soup in the multicooker, the cooking time will be much shorter). The doneness of the soup can be determined by the readiness of the potatoes.
