  • Smoked haddock fillet - 26.5 oz
  • Dry White Wine - ½ cup
  • Meyer Lemon Juice - ½ cup
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste
  • Sugar - 2 teaspoons
  • Olive Oil - 0.3 cups
  • Coarse Salt - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Using a sharp knife, slice the fish fillet into thin diagonal pieces.

Step 2

Place in a dish and pour over the lemon juice and wine. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 to 2.5 hours, stirring occasionally.

Step 3

Shake off the excess marinade from the fish and arrange on a plate. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt, and sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper.
