Salmon Tartare with Avocado and Capers
Ingredients
- Smoked haddock fillet - 7.1 oz
- Shallot - 1 piece
- Capers - 6 pieces
- Courgette - 1 piece
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Mustard Greens - 1 teaspoon
- Arugula - 1 bunch
- Avocado - 1 piece
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Creamy Horseradish - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the cucumber and remove the seeds, then dice it into small cubes, chop with a knife, and squeeze out excess moisture.
Step 2
Peel the shallot, dice it into small cubes, and chop with a knife.
Step 3
Peel half of the lemon, dice the flesh, and then chop it into small cubes. Mix it with the juice, cucumber, and shallot. Add 1 teaspoon each of mustard seeds, prepared horseradish, and olive oil.
Step 4
Dice the salmon fillet into slightly larger cubes than the vegetables and mix it with the prepared mixture, adding salt and pepper. Remove any excess liquid.
Step 5
Divide the mixture into molds and refrigerate for 1 hour. After that, invert the mold onto a plate and garnish the tartare with capers, avocado, and arugula.
