Description
Overnight, all the ingredients release their beneficial properties into the water. The next day, take the drink out of the refrigerator and consume it throughout the day; when the water runs out, refill the pitcher with water over the remaining vegetables and let it steep overnight again. This means you can use it a second time and even a third.
Ingredients
- Grated Ginger Root - 3 tablespoons
- Fresh Mint - 3 stems
- Water - 2 qt
- Lemon - 2 pieces
- Courgette - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash all the vegetables thoroughly. Slice the lemon with the peel into thin rings, slice the cucumber with the peel into thin rings, pluck the mint leaves from the stems, and grate the ginger (usually 3 tablespoons, but I like a bit more).
Step 2
Toss everything into a pitcher with water (two liters is the daily norm for a person) and place it in the refrigerator overnight.
