Ingredients
- Pork Blood - 17.6 oz
- Salad Potatoes - 2 pieces
- Onion - 1 head
- Sauerkraut - 14.1 oz
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Rice - 1.8 oz
- Pork fat - 1.8 oz
- Bay leaf - 1 piece
- Salt - to taste
- Green peppercorns - 10 pieces
- Sour Cream - 1.8 oz
- Herbs - 1.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pour cold water over the pork and bring to a boil. Skim off the foam, add the bay leaf and salt, and cook for 2–2.5 hours.
Step 2
Squeeze the sauerkraut and sauté it with melted pork fat until semi-cooked.
Step 3
Chop the pork fat and mix it with chopped herbs.
Step 4
Cut the potatoes into cubes and add them to the broth.
Step 5
Rinse the rice and add it to the broth. Cook for 15 minutes.
Step 6
Add the carrot, onion, and sautéed sauerkraut to the soup. Cook for 15 minutes.
Step 7
Add the pork fat to the soup. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 8
Serve the finished soup with sour cream.
