Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Puff Pastry - 8.8 oz
- Whole egg - 1 piece
- Sour Cream - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Cream 22% - 1 tablespoon
- Feta cheese - 7.1 oz
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Herbs - 1 bunch
- Dried Chamomile - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
For the filling, finely chop the herbs and press the garlic. Mash the feta with a fork. Add the garlic, herbs, marjoram, and pepper. Beat the egg and add it to the filling. Also add the sour cream and mix well.
Step 2
Thaw the pastry and roll it out to a thickness of about 3 mm. Evenly spread the filling over the pastry. Roll the pastry with the filling into a fairly tight log. Cut the log crosswise into 8 pieces.
Step 3
Grease a round baking dish (20–23 cm) with butter. Place the pieces in the dish like tree stumps, not too tightly. Beat the yolk with the remaining butter and cream using a fork. Brush the surface of the pie with this mixture.
Step 4
Bake at 338°F for about 35 minutes.
