Ingredients
- Onion - 5.3 oz
- Carrot - 5.3 oz
- Celery salt - 2 pieces
- New Potatoes - 12.3 oz
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Dry White Wine - 4 fl oz
- Fish Oil - 10 fl oz
- Sole fillets - 17.6 oz
- Saffron - 0.4 oz
- Peeled Cooked Shrimp - 4.4 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Chinese green beans - 5.3 oz
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Herbs - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the onion and carrot, slice the onion into rings and the carrot into rounds. Clean and wash the celery, then slice it thinly. Wash the potatoes thoroughly with a brush and cut them in half or into quarters.
Step 2
Heat olive oil in a pot. Sauté the onion, carrot, and celery for about 5 minutes. Add the potatoes and the pressed garlic. Cook uncovered for about 5 minutes. Then pour in the wine and fish broth, and add the saffron threads. Bring to a boil and simmer covered for 10 minutes.
Step 3
Meanwhile, wash the fish, pat it dry, and cut it into pieces. Clean and wash the green beans, cutting each pod in half. Add the fish and green beans to the pot and cook everything together for about 8 minutes.
Step 4
Add the shrimp and let the soup simmer a bit longer. Season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle with finely chopped herbs. Serve hot.
