Shrimp Cocktail with Horseradish Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • Peeled Cooked Shrimp - 10.6 oz
  • Lemon - ½ piece
  • Cream - 4 fl oz
  • Ketchup - 2 tablespoons
  • Horseradish Leaves - 0.4 oz
  • Brandy - 1 tablespoon
  • Cayenne Pepper - to taste
  • Salt - to taste
  • Banana Leaves - 2.1 oz
  • Chopped Sage Leaves - ½ tablespoon

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Transfer the shrimp to a bowl.

Step 2

Cut 3 slices from the lemon and hang them on the edges of three small serving bowls.

Step 3

Squeeze lemon juice over the shrimp and let them marinate for a while.

Step 4

In a small bowl, whip the cream and add ketchup, horseradish, and brandy. Mix well. Add a little cayenne pepper and salt.

Step 5

Place the lettuce leaves in the prepared bowls and top with the shrimp.

Step 6

Before serving, drizzle the sauce over the shrimp and sprinkle with parsley.
