Shrimp, Tomato, and Vodka Appetizer
Ingredients
- Peeled Cooked Shrimp - 15.9 oz
- Celery stalk - 3 pieces
- Scallions - 2.5 oz
- Ketchup - ½ cup
- Vodka - ¼ cup
- Meyer Lemon Juice - ¼ cup
- Horseradish Leaves - 1.1 oz
- Worcestershire Sauce - 1 teaspoon
- TABASCO® - 1 teaspoon
- Avocado - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the shrimp, remove from heat, and let sit for 5 minutes. Drain in a colander and let cool at room temperature for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Cut each shrimp into 3 pieces, transfer to a bowl, and add finely chopped celery and green onion.
Step 3
For the sauce, mix ketchup, vodka, lemon juice, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, TABASCO, 0.75 teaspoons of salt, and 0.25 teaspoons of pepper.
Step 4
Before serving, drizzle the sauce over the shrimp and mix well.
