Shrimp with Bok Choy and Chili Sauce
Ingredients
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Champagne Vinegar - 2 fl oz
- Grated Ginger Root - 1 piece
- Sugar - 0.2 oz
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 piece
- Scallions - 4 pieces
- Vegetable Oil - 0 fl oz
- Baby Bok Choy - 1 bunch
- Tiger shrimp in brine - 9.7 oz
- Cilantro - 1 bunch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a pot, pour in the vinegar, add finely chopped garlic, grated ginger root, sugar, and half of the chili (chopped, seeds removed). Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 4–5 minutes.
Step 2
In a heated deep skillet, pour in the vegetable oil, add half of the chili (chopped, seeds removed), and finely chopped green onions. Sauté for 20 seconds, then add the shrimp and bok choy (cut into 2.5 cm strips) and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes.
Step 3
Pour the prepared chili sauce into the skillet, mix well. Sprinkle with cilantro leaves. Serve on plates.
