Ingredients
- Shrimp - 2 lbs
- Lime Juice - 5 teaspoons
- Mild Chili Spice - 2 pieces
- Vegetable Oil - ¼ glasses
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Ginger - 1.8 oz
- Red Curry Powder - 2 spoons
- Turmeric - ¾ spoons
- Nutmeg - 0,1 teaspoons
- Ground Cumin - 1 tablespoon
- Mango - 1 piece
- Mint - 1.8 oz
- Cucumbers - 1 piece
- Spanish onions - ½ heads
- Cilantro - 1.8 oz
- Salt - ½ spoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a blender, combine the oil, two tablespoons of lime juice, one chopped chili, grated ginger, garlic, red curry, turmeric, half a teaspoon of salt, and nutmeg until smooth. Marinate the shrimp in this mixture for thirty minutes in a cool place.
Step 2
Place the cumin in a preheated skillet and, stirring, cook for about a minute until it becomes fragrant.
Step 3
Dice the mango and a small cucumber into small cubes. Finely chop the red onion, chili pepper, mint, and cilantro. Mix everything with three tablespoons of lime juice and toasted cumin. This is the chutney.
Step 4
In a deep skillet, sauté the shrimp along with the marinade for eight to ten minutes. Serve with chutney.
