Sichuan-style Fried Green Beans with Chili
Ingredients
- Peanut Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Chinese green beans - 8.8 oz
- Sichuan pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Red Long Chili Peppers - 5 pieces
- Salt - to taste
- Sugar - ½ teaspoon
- Sesame Oil - 3 teaspoons
- Soy Sauce - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a wok, heat the peanut oil over high heat until it begins to smoke. Add the finely chopped chili and Sichuan pepper and stir-fry until fragrant.
Step 2
Add the green beans and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes, making sure not to let them burn. Season with salt and add the sugar. Stir-fry for a few more minutes.
Step 3
Remove from heat and add the sesame oil and a little soy sauce. Toss and serve immediately.
