Description
This seasoning (tomatoes, garlic, herbs) is suitable for almost all soups. And not just soups :) It works well with almost any dish that includes meat (for example, spaghetti Bolognese).
Ingredients
- Pork chop with bone - 14.1 oz
- Salad Potatoes - 4 pieces
- Onion - 1 head
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Tomatoes - 2 pieces
- Garlic - 4 cloves
- Herbs - 1 bunch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place a 2.5-liter pot with cold water on low heat, add the rinsed meat with bones. If desired, skim off the foam and let it simmer for 1 hour.
Step 2
After the time is up, start making the usual sauté — grated carrot and chopped onion.
Step 3
While the sauté is cooking and the broth is still simmering, peel the potatoes and cut them as you like.
Step 4
Remove the meat from the broth, cut the meat off the bones, chop it, and return it to the broth.
Step 5
Add the potatoes to the broth; once it boils, add the sauté, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 6
While the soup is finishing (about 10 minutes, no more), dice the tomatoes, crush the garlic through a press, and chop the herbs.
Step 7
After the final taste test, add the seasoning made from tomatoes, garlic, and herbs, turn off the heat, cover with a lid, and let the soup steep for about 15 minutes.
