Description

A very quick way to prepare salmon. Slice the fish and marinate it in a mixture of vinegar and olive oil for 5–8 minutes. Recipe from a cafe in the Midwest. Recipe taken from the book 'Flavors of the World with Alex Johnson. Gastronomic Guides'.

Ingredients

  • Smoked haddock fillet - 5.6 oz
  • Capers - 0.2 oz
  • Onion - 0.7 oz
  • Table vinegar - 1 glass
  • Olive Oil - 2 spoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste
  • Lemon - 1 piece
  • Herbs - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Cut the salmon crosswise into large chunks. Chop the capers, and slice the onion into thin half-moons.

Step 2

Mix all the ingredients together. If the fish seems not flavorful enough, add some salt. Marinate for 5 to 8 minutes.

Step 3

Garnish with lime and chopped herbs before serving.
