Ingredients
- Ham - 1.4 oz
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 piece
- Chicken Liver - 5.3 oz
- White bread - 2.8 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Chicken Broth - 17 fl oz
- Thyme - 0 oz
- Garlic - 12 cloves
- Olive Oil - 0 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Crush, peel, and coarsely chop the garlic; remove the crust from the bread and cut it into large cubes.
Step 2
Cut the liver into large pieces, chop the ham coarsely, remove the seeds from the chili and finely chop half of the pod.
Step 3
Sauté the garlic in olive oil over medium heat for 30 seconds, add the ham and liver, and fry, stirring constantly, for another 2 minutes.
Step 4
Add the bread cubes and fry for another minute.
Step 5
Add the chopped chili pepper, pour in the chicken broth, bring to a boil, and simmer covered on low heat for 20 minutes.
Step 6
Beat the egg until smooth and stir it into the soup, actively mixing; taste and adjust the salt and pepper.
Step 7
Ladle the soup into bowls, garnish with a sprig of thyme, and serve hot.
