Ingredients
- Water - 7 fl oz
- Milk - 7 fl oz
- Cinnamon - ½ teaspoon
- Black tea - 1½ teaspoons
- Cardamom - ½ teaspoon
- Grated Ginger Root - a pinch
- Ground clove - 6 pieces
- White Pepper (whole) - a pinch
- Ground Nutmeg - a pinch
- Star anise - a pinch
- Ground Black Pepper - a pinch
- Sugar - 1½ teaspoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pour the milk and water into a pot or any other container.
Step 2
Add the tea, spices, and sugar.
Step 3
Bring to a boil and reduce the heat to the lowest setting.
Step 4
Taste the tea to see if it's spicy enough; if something is missing, add a little bit of each spice starting from the top of the list.
Step 5
Stirring, simmer for another 5–7 minutes.
Step 6
Pour through a strainer.
Step 7
You can froth some more milk in a milk frother or add it directly to the drink.
