Ingredients
- Red Grape Juice - 50 fl oz
- Oranges - 1 piece
- Orange juice concentrate - 7 fl oz
- Apple - 1 piece
- Cinnamon - 1 piece
- Grated Ginger Root - 2.3 oz
- Honey - 2 tablespoons
- Ground clove - 3 pieces
- Cardamom - 0.2 oz
- Lemon - 1 wedge
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Slice the oranges into rounds, cut the apples into half-moons, and slice the ginger thinly.
Step 2
Open the cardamom pods, separating the husks from the seeds.
Step 3
Place the cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, and cloves at the bottom of a pot. Pour in enough water to cover the ingredients.
Step 4
Bring to a boil and reduce the heat.
Step 5
Add 200 ml of orange juice.
Step 6
Add the apples and stir.
Step 7
Pour in the first bottle of wine.
Step 8
After 3 minutes, add the oranges.
Step 9
Immediately add the second bottle of wine.
Step 10
Add the honey.
Step 11
Add the juice of 1 lemon wedge.
Step 12
Cover with a lid, reduce the heat to low, and simmer for about 10 more minutes. Then remove from heat and let steep for another 10–15 minutes.
