Description
A sweet and spicy soup with sour cream and cilantro — a very interesting taste! Great for cold weather.
Ingredients
- Ground coriander - 1 bunch
- Yellow Beets - 2 pieces
- Chicken Broth - 16 fl oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Spices - 1 teaspoon
- 20% Sour Cream - 4 tablespoons
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Ocean salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the beets, onion, and garlic.
Step 2
Cut the beets into 4–5 cm cubes, quarter the onion, and crush the garlic with a knife.
Step 3
Mix everything together, add salt, spices, olive oil, place in a ceramic dish, cover with foil, and put in the oven for 25–30 minutes at 200–428°F.
Step 4
Remove the beets from the oven, pour the chicken broth into the dish with the beets, and blend everything until smooth.
Step 5
Pour into bowls, add sour cream or yogurt, and sprinkle with chopped cilantro on top.
