Spicy Chicken Quesadilla

Ingredients

  • Skin-On Chicken Breasts - 1 piece
  • Onion - 2 heads
  • Passata Tomato Sauce - 5.3 oz
  • Garlic - 1 head
  • Ground Cumin - 0.7 oz
  • Canned Jalapeño Peppers - 1.8 oz
  • Olive Oil - 1 fl oz
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste
  • Tortillas - 2 pieces
  • Avocado - to taste
  • Tomatoes - 5.3 oz
  • Paprika - 1.8 oz
  • TABASCO® - to taste
  • Melted Cheese - 8.8 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Place a skillet on the heat, add oil, and toss in the chopped onion and garlic. Meanwhile, cut the chicken breast into cubes and chop the jalapeño, then add both to the skillet and sauté. Next, add the tomato paste, cumin, paprika, and salt and pepper to taste. Cook until done and remove from heat.

Step 2

Prepare the salsa sauce (usually guacamole is sold in stores). Finely chop the tomatoes, onion, and garlic, mix with olive oil and tomato paste (also add salt and pepper to taste), and finally add the Tabasco.

Step 3

Set up two skillets (one with the filling for warming, the other clean for frying the tortillas without oil until crispy). After frying, place the tortillas on a board next to each other. In the skillet with the filling, add all the cheese and mix. Then transfer the filling onto the first tortilla, cover with the second, and cut into 8 pieces.
