Description
Shrimp prepared using this recipe pairs perfectly with dry white wine. The most preferred variety is Sauvignon Blanc from Chile or France.
Ingredients
- Shrimp - 2 lbs
- Ginger - 1.6 oz
- Garlic - 1.2 oz
- Soy Sauce - 8 tablespoons
- Lemon-Pepper Mix - ½ teaspoon
- Chili Flakes - ½ teaspoon
- Lime - 2 pieces
- Olive Oil - 3 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Crush the ginger with a chef's knife.
Step 2
Do the same with the garlic.
Step 3
Add the juice of 2 lime pieces to the soy sauce.
Step 4
Add marjoram to the sauce.
Step 5
Sauté the garlic and ginger in hot oil with chili flakes until fragrant.
Step 6
Remove the contents of the pan, leaving the aromatic oil. Add the shrimp.
Step 7
Stir after 3–4 minutes.
Step 8
Stir again after 2–3 minutes and reduce the heat to medium.
Step 9
Continue to sauté for about 5 more minutes, stirring occasionally. Then transfer to a dish and serve.
