- Peeled Cooked Shrimp - 5.3 oz
- Seafood cocktail - 3.5 oz
- Dried Chinese mushrooms - 5.3 oz
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- 10% cream - 3 fl oz
- Chili jam - 1½ tablespoons
- Chipotle Pepper Paste - 1 tablespoon
- Mild Chili Spice - to taste
- Anchovy fillet - 1 tablespoon
- Rice Noodles - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Soak the mushrooms to rehydrate them, as Chinese wood ear mushrooms are usually sold dried and pressed.
Step 2
In a pot, add the butter, then add the mushrooms, shrimp, and seafood. Sauté lightly, adding the chili paste and garlic chili paste along with a little water. Simmer on low heat for about a minute. Add fresh chili pepper to taste.
Step 3
Pour in water and bring to a boil. Add the anchovy seasoning.
Step 4
At the end, add the cream. It will mellow out the spiciness.
Step 5
Cook the rice noodles separately.
Step 6
Serve in bowls, pouring the soup over the noodles; otherwise, if you cook the noodles directly in the soup, it will thicken significantly over time.
