Spicy stuffed eggs with tomato filling
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 6 pieces
- Mayonnaise - 2.5 oz
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 2 spoons
- Horseradish Leaves - 2 spoons
- Lemon - ¼ pieces
- Sriracha - 1 tablespoon
- Paprika - 1 tablespoon
- Khmeli-suneli - 1 tablespoon
- Gherkins - 2 pieces
- Parsley - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Place the eggs in a pot and cover them with cold water. Put the pot on the heat and bring it to a boil. Once boiling, turn off the heat, cover with a lid, and let sit for 11 minutes.
Step 3
Then transfer to ice water.
Step 4
Peel the eggs and cut them in half.
Step 5
Transfer the egg yolks to a bowl, add mayonnaise, tomato paste, horseradish, lemon juice, hot sauce, and mix until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Transfer to a piping bag.
Step 6
Mix the paprika and khmeli-suneli and spread them on a flat plate. Dip the cut side of each half into the spices.
Step 7
Place the filling into the egg white halves.
Step 8
Slice the gherkins into rings. Arrange them along with the parsley leaves on the eggs.
Step 9
Serve the stuffed eggs at the festive table.
