- Onion - 1.1 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 0 fl oz
- Spinach - 17.6 oz
- Walnuts - 3.5 oz
- Utskho Suneli (Georgian spice mix) - 0.1 oz
- Imeretian saffron - 0 oz
- Ground chili pepper - 0 oz
- Ground coriander - 0.1 oz
- Salt - 0.1 oz
- Cilantro - 0.2 oz
- Wine Vinegar - 0 fl oz
- Garlic - 0.4 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place spinach in boiling salted water with a little baking soda.
Step 2
Pass the walnuts and garlic through a fine meat grinder several times.
Step 3
Add the walnut and garlic mixture to the finely chopped spinach.
Step 4
Sauté the onion in a pan and add the resulting mixture to it.
Step 5
Add spices and herbs.
Step 6
Mix the homogeneous mass by hand until it is elastic.
Step 7
Add vinegar and mix again.
Step 8
Shape into balls.
