Ingredients
- Spinach - 14.1 oz
- Walnuts - 3.5 oz
- Onion - 7.1 oz
- Cilantro - 3.5 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 7 fl oz
- Mild Chili Spice - to taste
- Paprika - to taste
- Khmeli-suneli - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Pomegranate Seeds - to taste
- Microgreens - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pour water into a small pot and place it on high heat.
Step 2
Once the water boils, add the spinach to the pot for 2 seconds.
Step 3
Drain the spinach in a colander and rinse it with cold water to prevent color change.
Step 4
Finely chop the spinach.
Step 5
Finely chop the onion, walnuts, and chili pepper.
Step 6
Heat a skillet and add the oil.
Step 7
Sauté the onion, then add the chopped walnuts, chili pepper, paprika, khmeli-suneli, and salt to taste.
Step 8
Thoroughly mix the ingredients and remove from heat. Add the spinach and finely chopped cilantro, and mix well.
Step 9
Shape the cooled vegetables into balls or arrange them in the center of the plate in a small rectangle.
Step 10
For a creamier taste, you can optionally add Armenian cottage cheese.
Step 11
When serving, garnish with pomegranate seeds and microgreens.
