Ingredients
- Squid - 24.7 oz
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Soy Sauce - 3 spoons
- Sugar - 2 spoons
- Salt - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable Oil - 2 spoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Submerge the squid bodies in boiling water for a couple of minutes. Drain the water through a sieve.
Step 2
Peel the onion and slice it into half rings.
Step 3
Cut the cooled squid into rings or strips.
Step 4
In a skillet, sauté the onion until it turns golden brown.
Step 5
Add the squid, stir, and sauté everything together for 1 minute.
Step 6
Add sugar, soy sauce, salt, and pepper (if needed), and mix well. Do everything quickly and over high heat.
Step 7
Fry for another 1-2 minutes.
Step 8
Press the garlic and mix it in (you can skip the garlic if you prefer).
