  • Wheat Flour - 1½ cups
  • Dry yeast - 2 teaspoons
  • Activated Baking Soda - ½ teaspoon

Step by Step guide

Warm the kefir slightly (you can use sour milk instead of kefir) and add 2 teaspoons of dry yeast.

Step 2

Take the flour, add the baking soda, and mix. When the yeast swells, add the flour with baking soda to the yeast.

Step 3

Knead the resulting dough and leave it to rise.

Step 4

When the dough has risen, cut it into portions for the dumplings. You can use any filling, from cherries to cabbage or potatoes.

Step 5

Shape the dumplings. Let them rise a little.

Step 6

Steam for 5 minutes.
