Stuffed Eggs with Herring

Ingredients

  • Chicken Egg - 6 pieces
  • Fillet of Sturgeon - 4.2 oz
  • Apple - 2.1 oz
  • Celery stalk - 2.1 oz
  • Butter - 1.8 oz
  • Borodinsky Bread - 1.1 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients.

Serve the stuffed eggs sprinkled with the Borodinsky bread crumbs.

Step 2

Boil the eggs hard, then cool them under cold running water.

Step 3

Grind the Borodinsky bread into crumbs in a blender, then dry it in an oven preheated to 356°F for 5–7 minutes.

Step 4

Peel the eggs and cut them in half. Remove the yolks from the whites.

Step 5

Mash the yolks with a fork.

Step 6

Dice the herring fillet into small cubes.

Step 7

Dice the apple and celery stalk finely as well.

Step 8

Mix the yolks with the herring, apple, and celery. Add the softened butter and mix again.

Step 9

Fill the hollows of the egg whites with the mixture and refrigerate until serving.
