Stuffed eggs with imitation crab and wasabi
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 6 pieces
- 9% Vinegar - 1 fl oz
- Water - 17 fl oz
- Red Food Coloring - to taste
- Crab sticks in brine - 3.5 oz
- Mayonnaise - 2.5 oz
- Lime - 1 piece
- Wasabi - ½ spoons
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Scallions - to taste
- Black sesame seeds - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Boil the eggs hard, then cool them under cold running water.
Step 3
Create cracks in the shell by tapping them or rolling them on the table.
Step 4
Mix water, vinegar, and blue food coloring until well combined, then add the eggs and let them sit for a few hours.
Step 5
Zest the lime using a fine grater and squeeze out its juice.
Step 6
Shred the crab sticks into strands.
Step 7
Remove and peel the eggs, then dry them on a paper towel. Cut the eggs in half and remove the yolks.
Step 8
Mix the egg yolks with the mayonnaise, crab meat, and wasabi. Season with salt and pepper, and add lime juice to taste. Transfer the mixture to a piping bag without a nozzle.
Step 9
Spoon the filling into the egg white halves, and garnish with finely chopped green onions, black sesame seeds, and lime zest.
