Summer Nutmeg Soup

Ingredients

  • Cauliflower - 17.6 oz
  • Young Carrots - 2 pieces
  • Leek - 2 pieces
  • Green Peas - 7.1 oz
  • Vegetable Broth - 3½ cups
  • Wheat Flour - 2 tablespoons
  • Milk - 2 cups
  • Cream - 1 cup
  • Ground Nutmeg - a pinch
  • Salt - to taste
  • Chopped dill - 2 tablespoons

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Divide the cauliflower into florets, slice the carrots thinly, and chop the leek finely.

Step 2

Boil the cauliflower and carrots in water for 10 minutes.

Step 3

Thoroughly mix the flour with the milk, then pour this mixture into the broth with cauliflower and carrots. Add the leek and peas. Add nutmeg and salt. Cook for a couple more minutes.

Step 4

At the end, add the cream and stir.

Step 5

Serve with dill.
