Ingredients
- Beef - 14.1 oz
- Salad Potatoes - 3 pieces
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Sweet Pepper - 3 pieces
- Water - 2 qt
- Paprika - 3 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 1.8 oz
- Sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Red Grape Juice - 0 fl oz
- Bay leaf - 1 piece
- Allspice berries - 2 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the beef into portion-sized pieces, cover with water, add the bay leaf and allspice, and boil for 2.5 hours.
Step 2
Peel the potatoes, cut them into cubes, and add them to the broth with the meat.
Step 3
Slice the carrot into rounds and add it to the pot as well.
Step 4
Slice the onion into half-rings and sauté in vegetable oil until translucent.
Step 5
Cut the pepper into large cubes, add to the pan with the onion, and sauté until soft. Sprinkle paprika into the pan and cook for another 5 minutes. Add the onion with the pepper and paprika to the pot.
Step 6
Add the tomato paste, salt, sugar, and wine to the soup. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 7
Serve hot.
