Ingredients
- Swiss chard leaves - 2 lbs
- Olive Oil - 0.3 cups
- Chili Flakes - ½ teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the Swiss chard well and dry it. Chop it into thin strips along with the stems.
Step 2
Bring salted water in a pot to a boil and add the chopped Swiss chard. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the stems are tender. Drain and gently squeeze out excess water.
Step 3
In a pot, heat the olive oil and add the finely chopped garlic. Sauté lightly until fragrant, then add salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Add the Swiss chard and stir for a minute. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
Step 4
Serve, sprinkled with Parmesan.
