- Boiling water - 1 qt
- Raw cane sugar - 8.8 oz
- Black tea - 3 teaspoons
- Red Grape Juice - 25 fl oz
- Cognac - 8 fl oz
- Lemon - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Brew the tea with one liter of boiling water. Let it steep for 15 minutes. Strain.
Step 2
In an enameled pot, pour in the wine and tea, warm it up, add sugar, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Stir continuously and heat well over low heat.
Step 3
Pour in the cognac, cover with a lid, bring to the first bubbles, and then remove from heat.
Step 4
Serve hot with lemon.
