Description
Pumpkin pairs wonderfully with bacon — it balances out its sweetness like no other. This pâté requires baking, after which it needs to be chilled.

- Pumpkin - 24.7 oz
- Bacon - 5.3 oz
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Farm fresh eggs - 3 pieces
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Nutmeg - a pinch
- Fresh basil leaves - a pinch
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide

Preheat the oven to 356°F.

Pour the mixture into the mold and bake for 40–45 minutes. Serve chilled.

Line the bottom of a baking dish (you can use a silicone mold) with strips of bacon.

Place the peeled and diced pumpkin on top of the bacon.

Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with basil.
