Thai Crab and Avocado Appetizer
Ingredients
- Lime Juice - 2 tablespoons
- Grated Ginger Root - 1 teaspoon
- Mayonnaise - 5 tablespoons
- Avocado - 1 piece
- White bread - 2 slices
- Lemongrass - 1 piece
- Crab Meat - 5.3 oz
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Combine half of the lime juice with ginger and lemongrass. Add mayonnaise and mix. Spread mayonnaise on the bread.
Step 2
Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and peel it. Slice the flesh into thin wedges. Arrange on the slices of bread. Drizzle with lime juice on top.
Step 3
Spoon the prepared crab meat on top and add the remaining lime juice. Add the remaining mayonnaise and sprinkle with black pepper. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve.
