Three Cheese Fondue with Broccoli and Carrots
Ingredients
- Broccoli - 1 head
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Cheese Spread - 35.3 oz
- Corn Starch - 2 tablespoons
- Dry White Wine - 13 fl oz
- Turnips - 2 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Divide the broccoli into florets, peel the carrots and cut them into cubes. Boil the vegetables for 2-4 minutes.
Step 2
Rub the inside of the fondue pot with garlic.
Step 3
Cut the Gruyère, Emmental, Beaufort, or other cheeses and mix with cornstarch in the pot.
Step 4
Pour the wine into the fondue pot and bring it to a boil. Simmer for a bit and slowly add the cheese while stirring constantly. Cook until the cheese melts. Add spices.
Step 5
Light the flame on the fondue stand and place the pot with cheese on it. Arrange the broccoli and carrots on a plate next to it.
