Ingredients
- Cilantro - 0.1 oz
- Water - 1 qt
- Coconut Milk - 1 qt
- Banana Leaves - 0.5 oz
- Mild Chili Spice - 0.5 oz
- Tom Kha paste - 3.5 oz
- Sugar - 0.5 oz
- Salt - 0.2 oz
- Peeled Cooked Shrimp - 1.1 oz
- Squid - 1.1 oz
- Shimeji mushrooms - 0.4 oz
- Galangal - 2.8 oz
- Sodium glutamate - 0.2 oz
- Lemongrass - 1.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place all ingredients in a pot, bring to a boil, and let steep for two hours.
Step 2
Strain and keep only the broth. You can add any ingredients to the resulting broth to your taste.
Step 3
Bring the prepared broth (300 g) to a boil, add shrimp and squid (cook for 2–3 minutes).
Step 4
Pour the resulting soup into a bowl, garnish with cilantro leaves and sliced mushrooms.
