Ingredients

  • Cilantro - 0.1 oz
  • Water - 1 qt
  • Coconut Milk - 1 qt
  • Banana Leaves - 0.5 oz
  • Mild Chili Spice - 0.5 oz
  • Tom Kha paste - 3.5 oz
  • Sugar - 0.5 oz
  • Salt - 0.2 oz
  • Peeled Cooked Shrimp - 1.1 oz
  • Squid - 1.1 oz
  • Shimeji mushrooms - 0.4 oz
  • Galangal - 2.8 oz
  • Sodium glutamate - 0.2 oz
  • Lemongrass - 1.1 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Place all ingredients in a pot, bring to a boil, and let steep for two hours.

Step 2

Strain and keep only the broth. You can add any ingredients to the resulting broth to your taste.

Step 3

Bring the prepared broth (300 g) to a boil, add shrimp and squid (cook for 2–3 minutes).

Step 4

Pour the resulting soup into a bowl, garnish with cilantro leaves and sliced mushrooms.
