- Tomatoes - 17.6 oz
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 head
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Chicken Broth - 17 fl oz
- Couscous - 3.5 oz
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Lentils - 5.3 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the tomatoes, peel them, and chop finely. Cut the chili pepper in half, remove the seeds, and slice thinly. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.
Step 2
In a pot, sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil, add the tomatoes, couscous, pour in the broth, and cook for 10 minutes. Peel the sweet pepper, cut it into strips, and add it along with the lentils to the soup. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for another 10 minutes. Before serving, sprinkle with parsley.
