Trout Soup with Garlic
Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes - 7 pieces
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Green peppercorns - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Butter - 1.1 oz
- Herbs - to taste
- Lemon - to taste
- Trout - 2 lbs
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Thoroughly wash the fish parts.
Step 2
Peel and dice the potatoes and carrot.
Step 3
Finely chop the onion.
Step 4
In a pot (5 liters), pour water and add the potatoes, carrot, and onion. Cook until almost fully cooked.
Step 5
Add the fish, bay leaf, black peppercorns, and herbs.
Step 6
Crush the garlic and add it to the soup when it is ready.
Step 7
Add a piece of butter to the finished soup and cover with a lid to let it steep.
Step 8
Serve the soup in bowls and garnish with lemon wedges.
